Hold the Pattern–PowerPoint Ministries Privacy & SMS Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
Our Commitment to You
Hold the Pattern is a production of PowerPoint Ministries, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry, and we consider the trust of our partners and friends a sacred stewardship. When you give a gift, request a resource, submit a prayer request, or sign up for communications, you are placing your confidence in us. We take that confidence seriously.
This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the promises we make to protect it. It applies to information we receive online through this website (holdthepattern.org), jackgraham.org and our giving pages, as well as by mail, phone, email, and text message.
Our Promise: We Do Not Sell, Rent, or Trade Your Information
PowerPoint Ministries does not and will not sell, rent, lease, trade, or exchange your name, address, email, phone number, giving history, or any other personal information with any other organization. We do not send mailings on behalf of other organizations, and we do not share our partner list with other ministries, charities, or businesses for their own use.
Your information is used only to further the ministry of PowerPoint Ministries.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to serve you and carry out our ministry, which may include:
- Contact information you give us, such as your name, mailing address, email address, and phone number
- Giving information, such as the date, amount, and designation of your gifts (payment card details are handled by our secure payment processor, not stored by us)
- Resources and orders you request
- Prayer requests and messages you send us
- Your communication preferences and consent, including whether you have agreed to receive email or text messages
- Basic technical information collected automatically when you visit our website, such as IP address, browser type, and the time of your visit
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Process your gifts and provide tax receipts
- Send resources, materials, and orders you request
- Respond to your questions and pray for the requests you share
- Keep you informed about the ministry, including broadcasts, events, and opportunities to partner with us, according to your preferences
- Maintain accurate records as required for a nonprofit organization
Prayer Requests
Prayer requests are received in confidence. They are shared only with the ministry staff and volunteers who pray over them. We will never publish your name or your request without your express permission.
How We Protect Your Information
- Access to donor information is limited to authorized ministry staff who need it to serve you.
- Online gifts are processed through secure, encrypted payment systems that meet industry security standards (PCI-DSS). PowerPoint Ministries does not store full credit card numbers on its own systems.
- Donor records are maintained in a secured donor-management database with restricted, password-protected access.
Trusted Service Providers
Like most ministries, we rely on a limited number of trusted partners to carry out specific tasks on our behalf — such as processing payments, managing our donor database, sending mail and email, hosting our website, and delivering text messages.
These providers receive only the information necessary to perform their service, are permitted to use it only for that purpose, and are required to keep it confidential. They may not sell it or use it for their own marketing.
Our Website
In addition to the practices described above, this website (holdthepattern.org) works as follows:
- Email signup. If you sign up to hear about new episodes, your email address is sent to our email service provider, Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group, LLC, an Intuit company), which stores it and sends you updates. See Mailchimp’s Privacy Policy. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
- Gifts. Gifts made through this website are processed by Square, the payment processor PowerPoint Ministries uses. Card details are entered on Square’s secure page; PowerPoint Ministries does not store full credit card numbers.
- Hosting and security. This website is hosted by WP Engine and protected by Cloudflare. Like any website, our hosting and security providers automatically log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and request times for security and reliability. Cloudflare sets one functional security cookie (
__cf_bm) used to help tell real visitors from automated bots. It is not an advertising or analytics cookie. - Videos and podcast links. Episodes are embedded from YouTube, and we link to Apple Podcasts and Spotify. Those services may set their own cookies or collect information when you play a video or follow a link, under their own privacy policies.
- Book links. Some book links on this website are Amazon affiliate links. If you buy through one, Amazon may pay us a small commission at no cost to you, and Amazon may use its own cookies. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
- No advertising or tracking scripts. We do not use advertising trackers on this website. If that changes, we will update this policy first.
When the Law Requires Disclosure
We will disclose personal information only if required to do so by law — for example, in response to a subpoena, court order, or other legal process — or when necessary to protect the safety of individuals or the rights and property of the ministry.
Your Choices
You may at any time:
- Update or correct your contact information
- Change how often, or by what means, we contact you
- Ask to be removed from our mailing, email, texting, or phone lists
- Request a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask that it be deleted (subject to records we are legally required to keep, such as giving records for tax purposes)
To make any of these requests, email us customerservice@powerpoint.org.

Our website and giving pages are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
